If you still can't find just the right pillow for you... make your own. You can easily customize any throw pillow. Try using a stencil and a permanent marker to add your favorite quote. Easily embellish any throw pillow with ribbon, buttons or felt. You can even transfer family photo's onto your throw pillows. There are many techniques out there for transferring photo's to fabric... just check out Pinterest!! Our favorite technique requires 5 simple supplies: Any laser print image, gel medium (found at any craft store in the paint section), a paint brush and a spay bottle with water. Now, simply paint a thick layer of gel medium on the front of your image and press face down onto your fabric. Then, let it dry for several hours. Once dry, spray the paper backing with water and lightly rub paper off. Once all the paper is removed you may want to add a layer of gel medium to protect your image.
